Personal Training


I am super excited. I met with a personal trainer today.  We talked about my goals. I am shooting for about 25 lbs of weight loss (I know, i know, it’s really the inches that count, but it’s harder to set a measurement goal). She assured me that this goal is pretty realistic. I’m just under 150 lbs. and about 5’2″. If I lose a healthy 1-2 lbs a week, I should be able to reach my goal in 6 months.

So we are starting with 3 days a week for an hour of one-on-one training. It was way more fun doing the workout with someone and having the guidance as I went.  Also, it practically forces me to go and not skip a day or do a half-assed workout on the fly. I’ll also combine this with Zumba, dog walking, and the 22 pushups a day for veterans’ awareness. I may throw in some yoga once in a while too.

This is definitely one of those days where I feel ridiculously fortunate, because this is not cheap and I am so thankful for my husband’s support.
