Weight Loss 1 Month In

It’s been a month since I started working with a personal trainer and taking Zumba classes, and about a month and a half since I cut out carbs, sugar, and alcohol (with a few exceptions…Halloween candy doesn’t count right?) I also did the 22 pushups for 22 days challenge on FB.

It has been a blast working with my trainer. We mostly chit chat and commiserate on politics and other random shit while she kicks my butt. She’s always switching things up and making sure I am using proper form. If something doesn’t feel right, she knows how to adjust the movements to fix it or offers a different option. The time flies by.

So I’m excited to share that I lost:




-5 lbs (about 10 total counting the first 2 weeks of just dieting)

-1.5% body fat

My jeans fit better and my husband and I both starting to see a difference.

If I can work up the motivation and discipline, I will start logging my workouts and the food I eat.
